Cyzygy Digital & Media Company Ltd. ("Cyzygy", "we", "us") is a digital, media and technology consultancy registered in Nigeria and operating from Lagos. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
It applies to our websites, including cyzygy.online and any sub-sites or standalone pages we operate, and to personal data we process in the course of providing our services.
Cyzygy Digital & Media Company Ltd. is the data controller for personal data collected through our websites and in our direct client and candidate relationships. Where we process data on behalf of a client — for example, administering contractor records — we act as a data processor under that client's instructions.
| Category | Examples | How we get it |
|---|---|---|
| Contact data | Name, email, phone number, company name | You give it to us via forms, email, or calls |
| Enquiry data | The nature of your request, roles you want to fill, budget indications | You give it to us |
| Candidate data | CV, work history, qualifications, references, assessment scores, right-to-work information | You give it to us, or a referrer provides it |
| Contractor administration data | Identity and KYC documents, payment details, engagement records, timesheets | You give it to us when we administer your engagement |
| Technical data | IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site | Collected automatically, subject to your cookie choices |
| Communications | Emails, messages, meeting notes | Generated through our correspondence with you |
We do not deliberately collect special category data (such as health, religion, or biometric data). Where a candidate volunteers such information, we remove it from assessment materials rather than relying on it.
We share personal data only where necessary, and never sell it. Recipients may include:
We are based in Nigeria and work with clients and contractors in multiple countries, so personal data may be transferred outside your country of residence — including outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. Where we do so, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, or the transfer being necessary for the performance of a contract with you.
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent at any time. These rights are available under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and, where applicable, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR.
To exercise any of them, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the UK or EEA.
We apply access controls, encryption in transit, and least-privilege practices to the systems holding personal data, and we require the same of our processors. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you and the relevant authority of a qualifying breach as required by law.
Our services are not directed at people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be notified where we hold your contact details.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences, and let us understand how the site is used. This policy explains which cookies we use and how to control them.
| Category | Purpose | Consent needed |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Page delivery, security, load balancing, and remembering your cookie choice | No — the site cannot work without them |
| Analytics | Understanding which pages are visited and how people move through the site, so we can improve it | Yes |
| Marketing | Measuring the performance of advertising campaigns and limiting how often you see an ad | Yes |
| Functional | Remembering preferences such as currency display | Yes, where not strictly necessary |
Some cookies are set by services we use rather than by us directly. Depending on the page and your choices, these may include analytics providers, advertising platforms, embedded video players, and our scheduling provider. Those providers process data under their own privacy policies.
When you first visit, you can accept all cookies or reject optional ones. You can change your decision at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer, which will bring the banner back.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may stop parts of the site from working properly.
Browsers vary in how they implement Do Not Track and there is no agreed standard, so our sites do not currently respond to those signals. Your cookie choices on this site are respected regardless.
Rejecting optional cookies does not reduce the service you receive from us, and does not affect any enquiry you submit.

These terms govern your use of websites operated by Cyzygy Digital & Media Company Ltd. By using our sites you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the sites.
Cyzygy Digital & Media Company Ltd. is a company registered in Nigeria, operating from Lagos, providing digital, media, technology, talent, and advisory services.
Our sites describe our services and publish indicative rates so you can plan and budget. Nothing on them constitutes a binding offer, a quotation, or professional advice you should act on without speaking to us.
Rates are indicative. Published fees reflect our standard rates for typical engagements. Actual fees depend on scope, volume, duration, and the combination of services involved, and are agreed in a signed engagement agreement. Where a published rate and a signed agreement differ, the signed agreement governs.
Where prices are displayed in more than one currency, non-USD figures are converted at a fixed internal reference rate for illustration only. They are not a quoted exchange rate, not a guarantee of the amount payable, and do not account for bank charges or transfer costs. Invoices state the contracting currency.
Where we recruit personnel, we act as an intermediary between you and the individual. Where we administer contractor engagements, we provide administrative and commercial infrastructure supporting a genuine independent-contractor relationship between you and that contractor.
Cyzygy does not act as an Employer of Record, does not employ contractors placed with clients on your behalf, and does not assume employer obligations in respect of them. You remain responsible for the direction of the work and for ensuring the engagement genuinely operates on an independent-contractor basis. Where a proposed arrangement resembles employment, we will say so and recommend it be reviewed with appropriate professional advice.
Where we provide delivery leadership, we provide oversight and direction of delivery for an agreed period under the terms of the relevant engagement agreement. Specific responsibilities are defined in that agreement.
Performance figures, placement counts, retention rates, and case studies describe past engagements. They are provided in good faith and are accurate to the best of our knowledge at the date of publication. They are not a promise or guarantee of comparable results in any future engagement.
All content on our sites — text, design, graphics, code, frameworks, and methodologies — belongs to Cyzygy or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may view and print pages for your own reference. Any other reproduction, distribution, or commercial use requires our written permission. Third-party names and logos shown as client references remain the property of their owners and are used with permission or as factual reference.
Our sites link to third-party websites. We do not control them, are not responsible for their content or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.
Our sites are provided "as is". We do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, or data arising from your use of our sites. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Liability arising from services we provide is governed by the engagement agreement for those services, not by these website terms.
Our handling of personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy above, which form part of these terms.
We may amend these terms at any time. The version published on this page at the time you use the site is the version that applies.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have exclusive jurisdiction, save that we may bring proceedings in another jurisdiction where necessary to protect our rights.
