Digital Generalist (Strategy and Execution)

About the client

Our client is building a bench of Nigeria-based digital specialists to deliver work for clients in North America. It already holds agreements with agencies in North America that need skilled people to deliver client work, so specialists get access to foreign clients without having to find them.

How the model works

• Specialists are contracted by the client directly, not by each agency separately.
• The client brings the work, through agencies it works with across North America.
• Specialists deliver inside the client’s AI delivery system, built on Claude, with ready-made workflows, SOPs and client context.
• The client pays for all AI tools. Specialists never pay for a subscription or usage.
• A senior strategist leads each end client, and specialists do the work behind the scenes.
• All work is reviewed before it reaches the end client.

The role

Pick up any digital tool or project for North American clients and get it working.

Key responsibilities

Typical work includes:

• Set up a client’s HubSpot.
• Import client contacts into the CRM.
• Build the sales pipeline.
• Automate follow-up emails.
• Connect website forms to the CRM.
• Add a GA4 reporting dashboard.

Requirements

• Has set up and connected everyday tools end to end, including CRM, email marketing, analytics, tag manager and website builders.
• Learns a new platform in days.
• Broad working knowledge across all of digital.
• Intermediate level or above: able to do the work without AI, and faster and sharper with it.
• Already uses AI tools, or keen to learn Claude and the client’s workflows.
• Understands how North American markets, platforms and audiences work.
• Strong written English, with clear and professional communication.
• Meets deadlines and flags problems early.
• Self-directed and works well remotely.
• Available for a few hours each week that overlap with North American working hours.

Contract and compensation

• Contracted directly by the client.
• Paid either a monthly salary or per project.
• Exact terms are still being finalised and will be agreed with each specialist before any work starts.
• This is a ready pool of specialists called on as client work comes in, not a fixed vacancy.
• Early projects start small, and the work grows as agency demand grows.
